Angels Giving Back will hold different events throughout the year. These FAQs pertain to the 1st Annual Angels Giving Back walk/ run held at the Citizens Bank Complex in Johnston, RI.

Although we encourage everyone to bring their cameras or cell phones to take pictures of their racers, please note that there will be a professional photographer also present on race day taking photos of racers. These professional photos will later be posted to the gallery.

Where do I park?
Parking garage

How do I get to the starting area?
Right outside parking garage.

Are the runners allowed to wear headsets/ earphones?
Yes of course anything that helps you moving and grooving while you run or walk. Just please be careful of your surroundings at all times.

Where are the best places to watch the race?
Anywhere it is a little over a mile loop which we will repeat 3 times

Are strollers allowed?
Of course strollers are allowed! However, we must inform all of our strolling participants to take caution while strolling about since we are not liable for any stroller damage or accidents.

Can children participate?
Angels Giving Back welcomes, and encourages children to participate in our 5k run. We do ask that parents/guardians be mindful and constantly aware of your tiny tots at all times.

Can I bring a bag/ backpack/ cooler?
You may, however, snacks and beverages will be provided at the event.

Can I bring my dog?
Even though we would love to have your furry friends join us, for their safety, and the safety of all participants, we only allow service animals at the event.

How much is it to register?
It’s $10 per kid for online registration, $35 per adult for online registration and $50 to register on race day at the registration table.

What is included with my registration?
Your spot in the walk/run and a swag bag with one t-shirt (while supplies last) and other fun promo products.

Is Angels Giving Back a non-profit organization?
ANGELS is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Proceeds will be donated to Alzheimer’s, Polycystic Kidney Disease, and The Tomorrow Fund.

What was the inspiration behind Angels Giving Back?
Charitable organization.

Is the Angels Giving Back walk/run timed?
Yes, it is being timed.

Will there be portable restrooms at the Angels Giving Back walk/run?
Yes, there will be portable restrooms available on-site.

What happens if there is bad weather on the day of the run?
The event will be delayed depending on the severity and/or if bad weather persists; include weather conditions that apply. In the event that there should be bad weather, the Angels Giving Back 5k will be delayed. If the weather is scheduled to improve shortly, then the run will only be delayed. However, if weather conditions are forecasted to be severe, then the run will be postponed.
